Parents and Guardians,
Over the past seven years, during the fall, Oromocto High School (OHS) students have participated in national and provincial competitions. In that time, OHS has won a 2nd place national banner and two 1st place provincial banner which are hanging in our cafeteria.
The competition is based on the career and life skills website Chatterhigh.com. Students who participated completed the once daily quiz where there are ten (10) questions once per day and changed seven (7) days a week which encompasses questions ranging from entrance to universities or community colleges to travelling abroad to skills required in jobs. Students have an opportunity to win cash prizes based on a preset number of correct questions over the course of the competition and the ability to enter draws for gift cards.
The fall version began on Monday, October 3rd. Parents can also help support OHS by creating accounts as “friends” of the school and completing the daily quiz. Below you will find the steps to create an account. Let’s help OHS bring home another banner!
